How we help
Payroll comes with strict monthly and bi-annual deadlines. PAYE, UIF and SDL must be declared and paid on the EMP201 by the 7th of each month, and late payment attracts a 10% penalty plus interest. We run your payroll, submit every return and make sure your employees' IRP5s are correct.

Frequently askedquestions
How much does payroll cost?
From R250 per employee per month, added to any of our plans. This covers payslips, PAYE, UIF and SDL, EMP201 and EMP501 submissions and IRP5s.
When is the EMP201 due?
By the 7th of the following month, or the last business day before it if the 7th falls on a weekend or public holiday. Late payment attracts a 10% penalty plus interest, even if the return is submitted on time.
Do I need to register as an employer?
You must register for PAYE once any employee earns above the tax threshold, and for UIF if you employ staff. We take care of the registrations.
Can you take over payroll from my current provider?
Yes. We take over at a month-end, carry forward year-to-date figures so IRP5s are correct, and make sure nothing is missed in the handover.
